2016 Methodology

You know how to rate the quality of medicare insurance companies? Of course, to rate the top of best insurance, we need to base on various conditions. In fact, they use data from the Centers for medicare and merdicaid services which including the rating or  each medicae advantage plan. Besides, we also have to know about CMS score. It is from 1-5 stars. If an insurance company has 4.5 out of 5 stars for its medicare advantages plans and all its plan in the state had to earn at least 3 out of 5 stars. Those numbers show us thatthis company is on our “Best” list maintain a good quality.

2016 Methodology for Part D Plans

In Part D, we still use the CMS rate (5 stars) to evaluate the quality of medicare health insurance companies in details. Each different state will evaluate based on the list that grouped 2016 Insurance companies. Part D plans are available in the state if it earns an average rating of at least 4.5 out of 5 stars and “all had to earn at least 3 out of 5 stars.
