75% Vietnamese people covered by healthcare insurance in 2015

At the end of 2014, Vietnam has walked with vigorous stride in healthcare insurance field. According to a social research, in the half of 2015, more than half of population is covered by healthcare insurance. Vietnamese people has taken insurance for their families with standard and premium insurance type. This step helps Vietnam has reached universal coverage according to a report of the World Bank.

Overview
Since the 1990s, Vietnam has achieved a great development in the quality of healthcare insurance products and services. These days, the insurance companies also provide various types of insurance for new born and children within different ages. They have expanded the quality of medicare in rural areas and some smaller town that far away from the centers. People can use their healthcare insurance in local hospital and the doctors now is practicing much more to get familiar with modern standards.
According to the Ministry of Health, It has more than 2.3 million people that covered by healthcare insurance in only a quarter of last year. The reason for this trend is the changes in poverty alleviation policies and shifting workforces. So, the result that Vietnam expect from their country is that the local government at all levels will give a help to create the best condition for the development of healthcare insurance.
Healthy risks in Vietnam
As what we can see from the beginning, healthcare insurance has become one of the most important issue that Vietnam takes care for their people. We are hoping to lift the rate of people  covered by healthcare insurance up to 75 percent in the year 2015. It is exactly 63,157,444 people that equivalent to 69,7 percent of the population of Vietnam.
Because of the manner of Vietnam’s weather and geography, the Vietnamese usually stands various types of diseases and health threats over 2 seasons. In fact,  a half of population is now living in the rural areas or the country sides so that most of the healthcare condition is not as good as what we expect from the city or the center. We can mention about  some of the disease such as Hepatitis A and B, typhoid fever, malaria, are the most common in those places which not always get in touch with those in the cities.
Besides, Vietnam people has to face with the effects from the biological warfare from the Vietnam war in the past. This poison corrupted a part of landscape and impact the food quality to the health of people. Some of disabilities are happening with Vietnamese new born and children. We cannot count the exact number but this is the fact that Vietnam
